On October 11th, IYTC members met with Representative Dan Frankel of the Pennsylvania House of Representatives, who is also Democratic co-chair of the Health Committee, to discuss methods of youth advocacy for pending House Bill 1657! HB1657 was introduced in September and makes amendments to the PA Clean Indoor Act to close loopholes, expand definitions to include e-cigarettes, and install other protections against secondhand smoke in workplaces.
